• The larger footprint of this bedrock pattern fore plane will not follow contours on the surface of the wood, levelling off any peaks or troughs to flatten large surfaces such as panels, tabletops and workbench tops prior to smoothing
• 2-1/2" wide cutter blade
• Precision machined ductile iron castings ensure the sole is flat and square to the sides
• Bedrock design allows the frog to be adjusted without removing the irons
• Machined faces of the frog bed sit firmly onto similar machined faces on the body of the plane & then fastened in position by two screws
